SDRplay RSP2 1kHz - 2000Mhz Wideband SDR Receiver

The RSP2 is an enhanced version of the popular RSP1A, providing three software selectable antenna inputs, and new stability and clocking features ideally suited to industrial, scientific & educational applications.

The SDRplay RSP Receivers are powerful wideband full-featured SDRs, which cover all frequencies from 1 kHz up to 2 GHz without gaps. All that is needed is a computer and an antenna to provide communications receiver functionality.

Used with the free Professional SDRUno SDR Software you can enjoy all modes of operation whilst monitoring up to 10 MHz of spectrum in real time. SDRUno software allows you to operate from 1 up to 4 independent virtual SDR Receivers within the selected 10MHz bandwidth of the SDRplay hardware. The actual number of Virtual SDR receivers is limited by the processing power of the PC in use.

An open API allows developers to create new demodulators or applications around the platform.

Multiplatform driver and API support including Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and Raspberry Pi 2/3

Key Features of the RSP2
  • 10 built in front-end pre-selection filters, with substantially enhanced selectivity

  • Supports up to 3 simultaneously connected antennas (2 x 50 Ohms and 1 High Z port for lower frequencies)

  • External clock input and output for synchronisation purposes, or connection to GPS reference clock

  • Up to 10MHz visible bandwidth

  • Powers over the USB cable with a simple type B socket

  • High Performance ADC silicon technology

  • Software selectable AM/FM broadcast band notch filters

  • Software selectable multi-level Low Noise Preamplifier

  • Bias-T power supply for powering antenna-mounted LNA

  • RF screening within a strong plastic case for the standard RSP2

  • RSP2pro housed in rugged metal case for improved RF screening

RSP2pro version is also available - same specification as the RSP2 but is housed in a rugged metal box for improved RF Screening- see our Ebay Shop https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232471199006

Package Contents: 1 pcs SDRplay RSP2 with "Getting Started" information.

Note: The SDRplay RSP2 requires a standard USB-A plug to USB-B plug Cable. This USB Cable is NOT supplied with the RSP2 as the majority of buyers will already have such a cable available.

SDR-Kits Warranty includes parts and labour and the cost of return shipping, provided the product has not been misused. Specifically the RF Power applied to the RSP2 Antenna socket should be limited to a maximum of +10dBm to avoid damage to the RSP2.

This listing is tax-free export to countries outside the EU and includes shippingvia Royal Mail's International Airmail 'Tracked' or Signed For' Service.

Shipping to Australia: Please note that a number of Australian Customers are reporting delays of up to 3 weeks once parcel has arrived in Australia. We will ship to Australia via 'Tracked' Airmail Service, as Australian Post seem to be experiencing problems handling 'Signed For' Service.

Local Import duties, if applicable, are for buyer's account.

Claims for non-delivery can be made once 28 days have passed since due delivery date.
