We handcraft each bracelet custom to fit. In order to receive a properly sized bracelet, we need you to follow the below "Measurement Guide" precisely and return the information to us in the format requested via message or note via Pay Pal payment. This ensures you will receive a bracelet with a perfect fit and by sending your information as directed will ensure there is no confusion.
Measure your wrist with a cloth measuring tape. Put a finger under the tape when you measure. This will ensure a comfortable fit. Next, add 1 inch. Paracord is thick and we MUST account for it by adding an inch. Return your size as an example; 6 1/2 + 1 = 7 1/2 inch bracelet size needed. This will be referred as a "FORMULA FORMAT". (We have been handcrafting bracelets for years and this works for us. Other vendors may ask for information in another way. Our instructions must be followed or you will not receive a perfect fitting bracelet. Please do not circumvent this process.)
We ask you to measure two (2) to three (3) times so you get an accurate measurement. Make sure you get the same size more than once then return the information as noted in the Measurement Guide above. Send your size in the "Formula Format".
Some cloth measuring tapes DO NOT start with zero "0". We have seen several tapes which have empty space before the point you should start measuring. There is a metal piece on the edges in most cases. Please look at the difference from the one (1) inch mark and the two (2) inch mark. If more space is remaining from the beginning of the tape to the one (1) inch mark then your tape has an inch of empty space. If this is the case, be sure to measure from the mark which represents zero (0). If your tape does not start at zero (0) and you start from the beginning of the tape your bracelet will be an inch too small and will not fit. We have come across this several times with our customers. If you cannot tell if the cloth tape starts at zero (0) or has blank space, please send us a picture and we can help you. If you are unable to upload a picture through eBay, we will send you our cell phone number so your can forward the picture to us that way.
If you do not have a cloth tape you can use a string. Put your finger under the string while wrapping it around your wrist. Make a mark where it meets. Lay the string on a flat surface and measure with a toolbox measuring tape or ruler. You can also use a one (1) or two (2) inch wide piece of paper wrapped around your wrist with a finger underneath. Mark the spot when the paper meets. Again, lay the paper on a flat service and measure with a toolbox measuring tape or ruler. Send your bracelet size in the "Formula Format" as required in the Measurement Guide.
We ask you to measure two (2) to three (3) times so you get an accurate measurement. Make sure you get the same size more than once.
Do not send us the end result (meaning only sending the bracelet size required). We cannot determine if you are sending your wrist size or your bracelet size. It is REQUIRED of you to send your size in the "Formula Format" as shown above. Do NOT reduce your actual wrist size so you get the answer you think is needed to produce a bracelet to fit you. The directions MUST be followed precisely or the bracelet will not fit. Please remember to indicate your wrist size AND the inch so there is no confusion; also know as the "Formula Format".
Amount of Paracord Used; About our paracord and Uses in an emergency situation:
Trilobite bracelets have three times the amount of paracord than regular sized paracord bracelets. A regular bracelet uses approximately one foot of cording for each inch. I will use an example of a man with a size 8-inch wrist. We must add one inch as will be explained below for the bracelet to fit properly. A regular sized (width) bracelet would have nine (9) feet of paracord you could unravel in an emergency situation. The paracord we use is Military grade and will NOT rot. It can hold up to 550 pounds of weight. Since trilobite bracelets are so wide and the way they are woven; using this same example, you will have 27 feet of military grade rope to use in an emergency situation! The paracord has an outer core (sheathing) that can hold 200 pounds and is braided with 32 strands! Inside are seven (7) strands which look like white thread. Each of these are twisted with 2 strands. One of these who strands can hold 50 pounds. Now, think of all the things you can do if stranded in the woods! You can find sticks and other nature’s materials and make a trap to catch an animal for food! Most men carry knifes. Walla, you've found a way to stave or starvation. If you run into a stream you can use the inner core strands and separate them and make a fishing line if you can find something shiny to attract a fish and something to make a hook. Some naturalists wear hats with hooks. Now you have another way to eat! You have a total of 15 strands to gather twigs, sticks, large branches for fire or shelter. I am sure if you are reading this you know the possibilities of what can be done with a bracelet like this in emergency situations!
IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION NOTE:
You will be contacted via eBay messaging, not by phone, so be sure to CHECK YOUR MESSAGES OFTEN! There are many times I have questions and they go unanswered. Please be aware we normally have questions; especially if information is not given to us properly. I am very careful to pay attention to details, so I do ask questions! I strive to get all the information needed for Charlie to handcraft a beautiful, customized paracord item you will be pleased with for years to come! I cannot use a phone, so my way of communication is by eBay messaging. If you make a payment without a measurement I will send an eBay message requesting your size. If I don't hear from you I will likely text you to let you know I have sent a message and to please check your eBay message box or email address attached to your eBay account. The text will be: "it's Barbara from Paracord Charlie, could you please check your email or eBay account so I can complete your order?" This is all the information I will text so I do not accidentally give out "gift" information.
We have a 14-day return policy. If your bracelet does not fit you can return the bracelet at your expense as we have provided an accurate and extensive Measurement Guide. You must send a check in the amount of $3.02 (f0r 0ne bracelet); made out to “Charles Lewis DBA Paracord Charlie” for the cost of shipping a new bracelet to you. We handcraft the bracelet free of charge one time ONLY. If you want to return the bracelet for a refund contact us that you are returning a bracelet so we can be on the lookout. Once we receive the bracelet and it is found to be in its original condition we will refund you the purchase price LESS the shipping cost we paid to ship it to you originally. Return shipping is at the expense of the buyer.
If we made a mistake we will pay for the cost of retrieving the bracelet and sending a replacement or retrieving the bracelet and giving a full refund. WE MUST have a photo to show any problems that exist. We will not give refunds for items thrown in the trash or without a picture.
We offer free first class shipping to the continental U.S.!
His quality of work: His 100% rating speaks volumes! I believe you will LOVE his work!
Our paracord merchandise is handmade and of superior quality. We have searched high and low and purchased many bracelets to see our competition. Our bracelets do not ravel away from the buckles like you see in the stores. Yes, the cheap ones sell for a few bucks, but we put extra care in making our bracelets and have made a great name for ourselves in our local community. We have decided to sell through-out the country since we have had such great success locally! Everyone loves the quality of our items. The extra TLC goes a long way. We take care when melting the paracord so it does not look ugly and an eyesore as some that we have seen. We don't buy the cheapest cording and supplies - we go for quality over quantity. I am confident that you will be satisfied with one of Paracord Charlie's paracord accessories! Word of mouth, in our local community keeps us very busy, but we want to share the love of our craft with others. Now we have faithful, repeat customers after being online for three years.
Please look for us on Face Book. We are not allowed to post the link per eBay guidelines, but if you search for Paracord Charlie you should find us with no problems. You can see our other creations. We get so busy fulfilling orders and special requests that not all of our items make it to Face Book. If you have an idea of something you want, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at one of the above avenues. Thank you for shopping with Paracord Charlie!
